The key in the book for this tune is in D- which means that it's related to F Major. One thing that came up is to remember that the chord you're on dictates what notes you play for the duration of that chord. When you change to another chord this process happens again, and again. Some chords are related to each other and the key that the tune is in but not all chords are related to each other. We went through the process for learning tunes and applying language. Learning OUTCOME WEEK 1 “Beautiful Love” is a tune written by Victor Young, Wayne King and Egbert Van Alstyne in 1931 with lyrics written by Haven Gillespie. It has been performed and recorded by many jazz musicians. This tune is most commonly played in the key of D minor. Autumn Leaves'' Polkadots and Moonbeans Lady Bird  was written by pianist and composer Tadd Dameron in 1939. It was first released to the public in 1948. It’s most ground-breaking harmonic feature for its time was its turn around in the last two bars:  (Cmaj7 Ebmaj7 Abmaj7 Dbmaj7) . This is a great tune to know, and great for improvising.
